Bought this laminator for the office to do student badges with. I have the same one at home and it is a good buy for the dollars. It heats up quickly and you only have to put your product thru once, twice if you want it to be extra sealed. But once will do. All in all, its a great product and works wonderfully. Would recommend to anyone who needs a small personal or office sized laminator!
Lamination OK, but jams easily

We purchased this item for general office use and as a laminator it worked fine. There were some issues with buckling of laminated items and bent corners, but it otherwise was fine for what we needed. Then the laminator jamed and there was no way to remove it. This is a major design flaw of this item. There is a gap between the roller and the exit platform of the laminator, and if the laminated sheet becomes warped during lamination it can get caught in this gap. The problem is there is no release for the cover on the machine to allow you to remove the jam, and the opening is too small to try and pull out the jam with fingers or tweezers or pliers or any other item we could think of. Unfortunately we had to send ours back for this reason.
