it says "must use a carrier", but

I did not know that it requires "carrier", and did not know what "carrier" was actually. But this machine works just fine even without a carrier.... I somehow got a carrier, and used it when laminating... but this carrier was too thick, and jammed, and did not go through the machine.... So, it works better without a carrier in my case.

I am very satisfied with this product.
Great for Toner Transfer.

Worker great for making .062" thick toner transfer printed circuit boards. Takes a little pushing of the pcb to get it started, but works great. Nice and hot!

I've used it several times and it's been difficult to get the right heat settings. Their chart for heat settings is off. I also found that with newsprint because it is so thin it doesn't work well. This product does work but allow for waste because it might take several tries to get it right. No matter what I did one or two corners would curl a little.
