Techno Speak IT services

When my printer not to mention my computer and go online to find help, I do not want to be bombarded with slogans that makes me think that I have described a site in a foreign language. Concepts like corporate VPNs … VP DO?! I'm not looking for a "flux" for my Lorean Time Machine, I just want my computer and office printers to work.
Why can I not an IT services site that I speak in a language they can understand? Information technology is a broad term, and try toget my printer to work!
Because I need Google to find out what it means VPN virtual private network, and that it is a computer that uses a public network (Internet for example) to send information? Why have not the possibility of a virtual private network in the near future is necessary, because the waste 20 minutes of my life trying to understand?
